KATHMANDU: An earthquake struck with its epicenter near Darma in Mugu district early this morning.
According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center in Lainchaur, the 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 4:40 am. The epicenter was located in Darma, Mugu.
Previously, another earthquake originating in Tapethok, Taplejung, an eastern hilly district of Nepal, was recorded.
Nepal has experienced a series of small earthquakes recently.
