KATHMANDU: A meeting was held between Senior Vice President of the CPN (Maoist Center) Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Chairperson of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav today.

During the meeting held at Leader Shrestha’s residence in Hattiban, Lalitpur, the two leaders are said to have discussed the collaboration between transformative forces to protect democratic achievements and move towards socialism.

The role of the political forces in protecting and strengthening the federal democratic republic and socialism-oriented inclusive democracy was also discussed, according to Shrestha’s secretariat.
