BARBADOS: India ended their long wait for ICC silverware, claiming their second T20 World Cup title 2024 after a thrilling seven-run victory over South Africa in Barbados.

Virat Kohli and Axar Patel starred with the bat, while Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya showcased impeccable death bowling, ensuring South Africa fell short in their chase of 177 runs.

The Proteas, once again, were left disappointed in an ICC final, while India celebrated their first ICC trophy since 2013, finishing the tournament undefeated.
