KATHMANDU: Karan Pariyar emerged victorious in the latest season of the popular singing competition ‘Nepal Idol’.

Pariyar secured the top spot by garnering the highest number of votes during the thrilling grand finale held on Saturday.

Along with the prestigious title, Pariyar was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2,500,000. Salomi Gurung claimed the first runner-up position and received Rs 1,000,000, while Sachin Bishwokarma, the second runner-up, was awarded Rs 500,000.

Both runners-up were also honored with trophies for their outstanding performances in the competition.
