KATHMANDU: Amidst the spread and dissemination of various comments, opinions, and analyses regarding the Nepali Army, the Nepali Army has stated that it has been regularly publicizing its activities and opinions through press releases, press notes, and official social media.

The military has urged the general public not to believe in misleading and false news.

A statement issued by the Nepali Army said, “We request everyone to rely only on official sources for any information related to the army.”

Additionally, information has been provided that direct contact can be made with the Army’s Public Relations and Information Directorate and coordination can also be made with the designated regional headquarters at the local level for any information related to the army and its acoivties.
