KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a sharp decline of 14.83 points on Sunday, marking a subdued start to the trading week.
On Sunday, the market closed at 2037.09 points. In today’s session, share prices dropped for 190 companies, while only 49 companies witnessed gains. Seven companies maintained unchanged prices.
The total trading volume amounted to 9,178,895 shares, valued at Rs 3.60 billion (NPR 3,607,198,407).
Investors in Muktinath Agricultural Company celebrated notable gains, while Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution faced substantial losses on the first trading day of the week.
