KATHMANDU: Night buses arriving at Nagdhunga from Kathmandu by 5:00 pm would be allowed to depart towards their destinations, keeping the possibility of natural disaster incidents–landslide and flood in mind.

Spokesperson at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Superintendent of Police, Naresh Raj Subedi, shared this information with the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).

“Permission will be granted to night buses arriving at Nagdhunga by 5:00 pm to exit from Kathmandu Valley. We have informed the concerned transport entrepreneur organisations in this regard,” he added.

Similarly, the Office has requested the drivers not to drive the vehicles, taking risk as the risk increases at night. Around 200 long and short-route vehicles departed from Nagdhunga this morning, said the traffic police.
