KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, and CPN-UML Chair KP Oli met at Singha Durbar on Sunday to deliberate recent political developments, as per insider reports.
The meeting of coalition leaders followed UML Chair Oli’s discussions with Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, a day earlier, which had reverberated through political circles.
Recently, Oli has voiced discontent over the budget, despite the government’s successful passage of the fiscal year 2024/25 budget with UML’s backing.
Simultaneously, amidst parliamentary scrutiny, a probe committee has launched an investigation into Home Minister Lamichhane regarding alleged involvement in a cooperative fraud case.
