KATHMANDU; Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has instructed authorities to swiftly aid and support citizens affected by natural disasters.

He expressed condolences for the widespread damage caused by heavy rains and flooding, underscoring the need for urgent rescue operations.

Additionally, he announced that the government is convening the Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Committee to address potential landslide risks in light of the forecasted heavy rainfall this year.

Prime Minister Dahal urged all citizens to take necessary precautions to mitigate risks and ensure their safety.
