KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has called for a flexible monetary policy to invigorate the economy, emphasizing that his current tenure aims to tackle national challenges and implement essential reforms.
Speaking to the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Prime Minister Oli underscored his commitment to effecting substantial changes, stating that assuming office was driven by a desire to address issues, rather than mere political position.
He urged the private sector to collaborate closely with the government in pursuit of these goals.
Additionally, he cautioned against altering tax rates for individual interests and advocated for a monetary approach that fosters economic dynamism.
CNI President Rajesh Kumar Agrawal echoed these sentiments, urging prioritization of economic revival and supportive policies to uplift sectors affected by stagnation, such as production and construction.
