BANKE: A total of 27 people from Banke district working in Rasuwa and Nuwakot are missing after the Bhotekoshi flash floods occurred on Wednesday.
The Assistant Chief District Officer of Banke, Mahesh Kumar Gurung, said that the families of those missing individuals have urged the administration to facilitate the search and rescue operations. It is said that 14 men and 13 women from the district are out of contact after the disaster.
Twenty people are the permanent residents of Banke, five are immigrant workers and two are Indian nationals out of total 27 individuals working in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts from here.
