KATHMANDU: Fifty-nine people injured in the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa are currently being treated at different hospitals in Kathmandu after being rescued from the disaster-hit areas.
The District Emergency Operations Center (DEOC), Kathmandu, said 88 injured people from flood-affected districts, mainly Rasuwa and Nuwakot, were brought to the capital for medical treatment.
Of the 88 injured, 29 have already been discharged after receiving treatment, while the remaining 59 continue to receive medical care.
Three patients are currently undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, while 11 others have been discharged from the facility.
At the National Trauma Center, 31 injured people were admitted for treatment, of whom 12 have since been discharged.
Similarly, six people were taken to Bir Hospital, with five already discharged following treatment.
Two injured people are being treated at Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital, while one is receiving treatment at Green City Hospital. Two others are undergoing treatment at Norvic International Hospital.
Meanwhile, one injured person each is receiving treatment at Manmaiju Shubham Hospital and Nepal Medical College.
