KATHMANDU: The Ananda Foundation Nepal has donated Rs 3.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The funds are designated for relief and rehabilitation efforts in the Rasuwa and Bhote Koshi regions following recent floods.
The foundation handed over the cheque to Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Ghanshyam Upadhyaya. According to the organization, the donation was collected through collective contributions from its members and supporters.
The Ananda Foundation Nepal is involved in social service, humanitarian aid, and community development. Beyond disaster relief, the organization conducts various programs focused on health, education, and social welfare.
The foundation stated that it remains committed to working with the government and relevant agencies to continue its relief and social service initiatives in the future.
