KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has advised Nepal’s youth-dominated new government against attempting to satisfy everyone at once, warning that such an approach is a guaranteed path to failure.
In a Facebook post, Bhattarai cited a well-known English saying to underscore his message: “I can’t give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure: try to please everybody.”
He cautioned that a government focused on appeasing all sides risks losing sight of its core priorities and objectives, ultimately undermining its effectiveness.
“May the youth-led new government take note of this in time,” Bhattarai wrote, urging the administration to remain focused on its mission rather than seeking universal approval.
