KATHMANDU: A total of 177 people have died so far due to flooding in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa.
According to information provided by the Nepal Police, the victims include 41 women, 69 men, 10 girls, seven boys, and 50 unidentified individuals.
Police reported that two male bodies were found in Rasuwa.
Additionally, four women, six men, and two unidentified bodies were recovered in Nuwakot; nine women, 11 men, one girl, and six unidentified bodies in Dhading; and two women, 10 men, one boy, and seven unidentified bodies in Gorkha.
Furthermore, police stated that 15 women, 19 men, two girls, four boys, and 29 unidentified bodies were retrieved in Chitwan.
Similarly, one woman, six men, one girl, and one boy were found in Tanahun.
In Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), six women, 15 men, four girls, one boy, and six unidentified bodies have been recovered.
