KATHMANDU: The death toll from the Bhote Koshi flood has reached 735.
According to Nepal Police, as of 11:00 AM on Sunday, bodies have been recovered across multiple districts: 13 in Rasuwa, 50 in Dhading, 58 in Gorkha, 52 in Nuwakot, 259 in Chitwan, 37 in Tanahun, 184 in Nawalparasi(Bardaghat Susta East) and 82 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West).
The total number of injured and rescued individuals stands at 2,715. Meanwhile, 25 police personnel remain unaccounted for.
A total of 160 injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment or have been discharged from various hospitals across the Kathmandu Valley.
