KATHMANDU: BYD, in collaboration with its official distributor and local partner Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., has announced it will contribute 70 million rupees to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation in areas affected by the recent devastating floods, including Rasuwa District.
At a time when citizens in flood-affected areas are facing tough conditions, BYD and Cimex have expressed their solidarity and commitment to the Nepali people and the affected communities by announcing this support.
The aid amount will be deployed for relief and rehabilitation through the government’s official channels via the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
This support is expected to help with rescue, treatment, immediate relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of damaged infrastructure carried out by the government in flood-affected areas. It will also help affected families and communities return to normal and rebuild local infrastructure.
