KATHMANDU: Ujjyalo Nepal Party chair, Kulman Ghising, has demanded strict action against the culprits of the Jitpur, Bara incident, where a toddler was murdered after rape.
Former minister Ghising issued a statement today and demanded a fair investigation into the incident and bring the culprits to justice.
The body of the girl, who was missing since August 16, was found in a house in the same place on August 20, from the settlement of Jitpur Simara sub-metropolitan city-1 Dasdhura in Bara.
The party has raised questions about the responsibility of the state and the safety of children in society due to heinous crimes against girls and has demanded justice for the victims.
