DHANGADHI: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Khagaraj Bhatta, has stated that there is a need for unity to engage in nation-building while institutionalizing the achievements of the Constitution.
Speaking at a program organized here today by the Sudurpaschim Provincial Government to mark Constitution Day, he emphasized that all parties must move forward unitedly to translate the core essence and spirit of the Constitution into practice.
Chief Minister Bhatta noted that the Constitution secured through the long struggles, sacrifices, and martyrdom of the peoplehas institutionalized the values of democracy, republicanism, federalism, social justice, equality, and inclusivity.
The ceremony was attended by Provincial Chief Nazir Miya, Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, Deputy Speaker Koili Devi Chaudhary, provincial government ministers, members of the Provincial Assembly, representatives of various political parties, and heads of security agencies.
