KATHMANDU: The Chinese Embassy in Nepal and Nepal Tourist Police have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation to ensure the safety and well-being of Chinese visitors.

During a meeting held at the Tourist Police Office in Bhrikutimandap on August 4, Qin Wenci, Chief of the Consular Section at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal, met with the In-Charge of Nepal Tourist Police to discuss ways to strengthen coordination on tourist security and emergency assistance.

The discussions focused on improving communication, enhancing support mechanisms for Chinese nationals visiting Nepal, and promoting a safe and welcoming environment for tourists.

Both sides emphasized the importance of close collaboration between diplomatic missions and law enforcement agencies to respond effectively to the needs of international visitors and further strengthen Nepal’s reputation as a safe tourism destination.
