KATHMANDU: The Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has provided Rs 10.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rescue of citizens affected by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River.
CIT Acting Chairman Uttarkumar Khatri and Executive Director Parwat Kumar Karki handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle today.
Executive Director Karki said the contribution was made to support the government’s relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers in Rasuwa, which caused significant loss of life and property.
