KASKI: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Anjan Shrestha emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and private sector.
While addressing the 30th annual general meeting of the Lekhnath Industry and Commerce Association here on Saturday, he asserted that the private sector is prepared to assist the government in addressing economic challenges and enhancing the viability of economic activities.
Shrestha highlighted the necessity for the government to take decisive action to resolve economic issues, noting that progress has been slow since the budget was introduced three months ago.
He also mentioned that the FNCCI has proposed constitutional amendments to the Prime Minister’s Office and stressed the urgent need for a land use policy to delineate industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural zones to safeguard arable land.
