KATHMANDU: Cooking gas (LPG) distribution has officially commenced across five designated locations in the capital today as of 10:00 AM.
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), operating in coordination with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, is overseeing the direct sale of various cylinder brands to help ease local supply demands until 6:00 PM this evening.
Distribution is currently active at NOC’s Teku premises for Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Shreeram, Sagar, Siddhartha, Shree, and Himal gas brands.
Meanwhile, residents around Chabahil can purchase Nepal and HP gas at the Transport Management Office premises.
In Kirtipur, the Radha Soami premises is distributing Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Shreemaya, Shreekrishna, Saibaba, and Om gas, while the Basundhara Radha Soami site is carrying Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Bhanu, and Om gas.
Additionally, the Old District Administration Office premises in Babarmahal is serving consumers of Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Shreeram, Sagar, Himal, STC, Lokpriya, and Surya gas.
NOC officials emphasized that today’s distribution is strictly intended for individuals in urgent need.
Eligible buyers must present their original Citizenship Certificate or National Identity Card at the sales points to purchase a cylinder.
NOC reassures the public that regular LP gas imports remain steady and that regular supply chains through authorized retail dealers continue uninterrupted alongside today’s special drive.
