KATHMANDU: A customer who purchased goods worth Rs 415 from Big Mart has won a bumper prize of Rs 1 million. The Inland Revenue Department awarded the prize under its first fortnightly taxpayer incentive program for the month of Kartik.
The winners were selected based on transactions made between Kartik 1 and Kartik 15. The department selected 15 fortnightly winners along with one bumper prize winner. The names of the winners were announced today at the Suvarna Hall of the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar.
Cricket players participating in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) were present at the event to assist in the selection of the prize winners.
