KATHMANDU: Former President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has initiated discussions to resolve internal party disputes and maintain organizational unity.
During a meeting with leaders of Nepali Congress (BP) at his Maharajgunj residence, Deuba reiterated his commitment to keeping the party unified.
According to a participating leader, Deuba plans to hold decisive talks with Party President Gagan Thapa to finalize the ongoing unification process.
The discussions focused on organizational integration with Nepali Congress (BP), following their previously announced merger.
A specialized committee led by Arjun Narsingh KC is currently finalizing the party adjustment framework.
While active membership forms have already been submitted, the final execution of the unification agreement remains pending.
