Dhaulagiri Cooperative donates to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

KATHMANDU: The Dhaulagiri Savings and Credit Cooperative, based in Sundhara, Kathmandu, has donated Rs 517,500 to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

The cooperative provided the financial assistance to support those affected by the devastating flood that occurred in Bhote Koshi, Rasuwa, on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

According to the institution, Rs 500,000 was contributed by the cooperative itself, while the remaining Rs 17,500 was donated by its board of directors.

The cooperative expressed its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the flood. Furthermore, the organization extended its best wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and thanked all personnel involved in the ongoing rescue operations.
