KATHMANDU : The first song from the upcoming Nepali film Behuli, titled “Dilma Thau Chha,” has been released ahead of the movie’s nationwide theatrical debut on September 11 (Bhadra 26), timed to coincide with the Teej festival.
Unveiled during a special event in Kathmandu on Friday, the romantic track features lyrics and music by Arjun Pokharel, with vocals by Anju Panta, Prashant Siwakoti, and Ravi Oad.
Choreographed by Sion Shrestha, the music video showcases energetic dance performances by the film’s lead cast, including Paras Bam Thakuri (Cool Boy), Divya Rayamajhi, Sushant Karki, and Padam Tamang. In several scenes, Paras and Divya appear dressed as a bride and groom, hinting that the film’s storyline revolves around their marriage.
Directed by Sashan Kandel and written by Madhav Sharma, Behuli stars Paras Bam Thakuri, Divya Rayamajhi, Sushant Karki, Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, Bishal Pahari, Karma Lama, Deepak Gauli, Bimal Yadav, Abiral Shrestha, Sabin Kattel, and Samaira Thapa Magar.
Produced under the banners of The Divine Music and Samman Entertainment, the film is presented by music composer Arjun Pokharel. Pratap Shamsher Rana serves as producer, while Shankar Koirala and Ramesh Silwal are the executive producers. Durga Kharel and Shishir Shrestha are co-producers.
The film’s cinematography is by Narendra Mainali, with editing by Bikash Dahal
