KATHMANDU: Eight people were killed and 90 others injured in road accidents reported across various districts of Nepal during the past 24 hours, according to Nepal Police. Among the fatalities, three were reported in the Kathmandu Valley, one in Gandaki Province, three in Lumbini Province and one in Sudurpaschim Province.
Police said the injured include 10 people in the Kathmandu Valley, six in Bagmati Province, one in Gandaki, two in Karnali, 17 in Sudurpaschim, 13 in Lumbini, 13 in Madhesh Province and nine in Koshi Province. Authorities have released a detailed list of the accidents and casualties reported during the period.
