KATHMANDU: Eight candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Investment Board Nepal (IBN), with the final selection process entering its decisive stage.
The shortlisted candidates are Suman Man Singh Basnyat, Jitendra Dhital, Mukunda Prasad Paudyal, Saroj Koirala, Yangki UkIBNyaw, Bakhat Bahadur Shahi, Manoj Poudel and Madhu Prasad Bhetuwal.
The recommendation committee tasked with appointing the IBN chief has invited all eight candidates to present their business plans and attend interviews on Thursday and Friday at the Ministry of Finance. According to the committee’s notice, each candidate has been allocated one hour for the presentation and interview.
The government is expected to appoint the new CEO after the committee completes the evaluation process and submits its recommendation.
