KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has directed subordinate agencies to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming festivals. He issued the directive to ensure that electricity services remain regular and free of disruptions during Tihar and Chhath.
Addressing the executive director and high-ranking officials prior to the Nepal Electricity Authority board meeting on Wednesday, Minister Shrestha instructed them to forecast and analyze power demand and supply to manage electricity distribution effectively during the festive period.
