KATHMANDU: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has been suspended by Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) effective from 24 June 2026.

FIFA through a notification published on June 24, 2026 has informed the ANFA that as a result of the decision taken by the Bureau of the Council on 24 June 2026, it has been suspended until further notification in accordance with article 16 of the FIFA statutes.

FIFA said that ANFA has lost all of its membership rights henceforth ANFA representatives and the club teams will no logner entitled to take part in international competitions until the suspension is lifted.
