KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives has been postponed due to special reasons.
The committee secretariat issued a notice confirming that the meeting, which was scheduled for 10 am today, will no longer take place as planned. The session was set to be held at the committee’s hall in Singha Durbar.
The meeting agenda included a theoretical discussion on the bill designed to amend and repeal certain Nepal laws related to finance.
Additionally, the committee was scheduled to hold discussions with lawmakers who had registered amendment proposals regarding the bill, alongside other miscellaneous topics.
The secretariat did not provide further details regarding the specific reasons for the postponement.
