KATHMANDU: Senior meteorologist Meen Kumar Aryal of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has clarified that the rainfall did not cause flooding in the Bhotekoshi river.
According to him, in the past 24 hours, there has been light rain in some areas of Rasuwa, and it did not exceed seven millimeters.
He said that a study will be conducted due to concerns about a potential glacial lake outburst.
