KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.41, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.01.

The buying rate of one Euro has been fixed at Rs 175.80 and the selling rate at Rs 176.50. Similarly, the British Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 205.65 and sold at Rs 206.46, while the Swiss Franc has been fixed at Rs 187.72 for buying and Rs 188.35 for selling.

The Australian Dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.56 for buying and Rs 107.98 for selling. Likewise, the Canadian Dollar stands at Rs 109.33 and Rs 109.76, while the Singapore Dollar is fixed at Rs 119.06 and Rs 119.53 for buying and selling, respectively.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.56 and the selling rate is Rs 9.60. Similarly, one Chinese Yuan is fixed at Rs 22.60 for buying and Rs 22.69 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at Rs 40.59 and Rs 40.75, while the Qatari Riyal is fixed at Rs 41.80 and Rs 41.97 for buying and selling, respectively.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai Baht is Rs 4.60 and the selling rate is Rs 4.62. The UAE Dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.50 for buying and Rs 41.66 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit stands at Rs 37.29 and Rs 37.44, respectively. The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is Rs 10.72 and the selling rate is Rs 10.76.

Similarly, the Swedish Krona has been fixed at Rs 15.95 for buying and Rs 16.01 for selling, while the Danish Krone stands at Rs 23.53 and Rs 23.61, respectively.

The central bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. The Kuwaiti Dinar is fixed at Rs 496.05 for buying and Rs 498.00 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar stands at Rs 404.24 and Rs 405.84, respectively. The buying rate of one Omani Rial is Rs 395.85 and the selling rate is Rs 397.41.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on the need. It also noted that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates, with the latest rates available on the NRB website.
