KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal and his Bangladeshi counterpart, Dr Khalilur Rahman have held a telephonic conversation.
During the conversation, the two foreign ministers discussed the ongoing search, rescue, and relief efforts in the aftermath of the Bhotekoshi flood disaster on Wednesday.
Foreign Minister Khanal thanked the Government of Bangladesh for its offer of assistance and said that Nepal would remain in close coordination with Bangladesh regarding any specific support required.
The telephone conversation took place amid a difficult situation in Nepal, as search, rescue, and relief operations continue in areas affected by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa.
