KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a telephone talk to Foreign Minister of South Korea, Cho Hyun, on Thursday.
During the telephone talk, the foreign ministers dwelt on recent disaster in Nepal and the post-disaster activities such as search and rescue of the disaster survivors and relief distribution to them.
The South Korean Minister Hyun expressed deep condolence and grief over the loss of Nepali citizens in the disaster. He said South Korea stands with Nepal at such difficult time.
Foreign Minister Khanal informed the Korean counterpart on the ongoing efforts of search, rescue and rehabilitation with utmost mobilization of resources. Nepal government has given top priority to the protection of the lives of disaster survivors, search for the missing ones, and relief to and rehabilitation of the affected ones.
