KATHMANDU: A total of four people lost their lives and 185 others sustained injuries in various road accidents reported across Nepal over past 24-hour.
According to Nepal Police data, one fatality each was recorded in Karnali Province, Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and Lumbini Province.
Madhesh Province reported the highest number of injuries during this period, with 60 people injured alongside one fatality.
Lumbini Province recorded 39 injuries and one death, while Kathmandu Valley witnessed 32 non-fatal injuries. Koshi Province logged 24 injuries along with one death.
In other regions, Sudurpashchim Province reported 11 injuries with no fatalities, and Karnali Province recorded 10 injuries alongside one death.
Bagmati Province (excluding the Kathmandu Valley) and Gandaki Province registered six and three non-fatal injuries, respectively.
