KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices saw a sharp decline in the domestic market on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold plummeted by Rs 9,500 per tola (11.66 grams), fixing the trading rate at Rs 309,000 per tola.
This follows Friday’s trading rate of Rs 318,500 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also experienced a drop today. The Federation reported an Rs 185 per tola decrease, bringing silver down to Rs 4,780 per tola, compared to its Friday rate of Rs 4,965 per tola.
