KATHMANDU: The domestic gold market in Nepal experienced a significant upward surge today, with hallmark gold prices increasing by Rs 2,500 per tola (11.66 grams) to reach Rs 307,400.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, trading for hallmark gold opened at Rs 307,400 per tola following a multi-day rally driven by international market fluctuations.
Similarly, the price of silver also registered a notable gain, rising by Rs 40 to trade at Rs 4,765 per tola.
