KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices recorded an upward trend in the domestic market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold surged by Rs 2,800 per tola (11.66 grams) to trade at Rs 293,300.
On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 290,500 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also registered a gain today. The Federation reported a price hike of Rs 30 per tola, bringing silver to Rs 4,425.
On the preceding day, Tuesday, silver had traded at Rs 4,395 per tola.
