KATHMANDU: Both gold and silver prices registered a sharp increase in the domestic market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 316,700 per tola (11.66 grams), marking a rise of Rs 3,300 compared to Thursday’s trading rate of Rs 313,400 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices climbed by Rs 130 per tola.
Silver traded at Rs 4,985 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 4,855 per tola recorded on Thursday.
