KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices increased in the local market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 4,800 per tola today to reach Rs 301,700. Last Friday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 296,000.
Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 65 per tola to reach Rs 4,645. On Friday, one tola of silver was bought and sold at Rs 4,580. It was traded at Rs 4,570 per tola.
