KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 3,600 per tola on Friday.
With this increase, the price of gold has reached Rs 303,100 per tola. On Thursday, the precious metal was traded at Rs 299,500 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver has also seen an upward trend. The Federation reported that silver, which was traded at Rs 4,625 per tola on Thursday, has increased by Rs 150 to reach Rs 4,775 per tola today.
