KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 2,800 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday, reaching Rs 319,500 per tola (11.66 grams), according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold stood at Rs 316,700 per tola on Friday. The latest increase has pushed the precious metal’s benchmark trading price to Rs 319,500 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, declining by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 4,975 on Sunday from Rs 4,985 on Friday, according to the federation.
