KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices registered a sharp increase in the domestic market on Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs 7,600 per tola(11.66 grams) to reach Rs 304,900.
On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 297,300 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The Federation reported that silver rose by Rs 145 per tola, trading at Rs 4,725. In the previous trading session, silver was priced at Rs 4,580 per tola.
