KATHMANDU: The government has provided 25 million rupees in aid to Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading.
Under Secretary at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) Ram Bahadur KC informed that Rs 10 million was provided to Rasuwa, Rs 10 million to Nuwakot district, and Rs five million to Dhading district.
Similarly, so far 37 flights have been conducted for the rescue of flood victims, and according to the authority’s spokesperson Shanti Mahat, 305 people have been rescued by helicopter so far.
