KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal stated that it is the government’s policy and priority to engage the Nepali diaspora as a key partner in Nepal’s economic transformation.
Speaking at an interaction program organized by non-resident Nepalis and various diaspora organizations in the United States, Minister Khanal highlighted the government’s policy regarding the diaspora.
During the program, he clarified the government’s vision to mobilize the knowledge, skills, capital, technology, and networks of Nepalis living abroad for Nepal’s economic development and transformation.
Minister Khanal emphasized that the government prioritizes further strengthening ties between Nepal and the diaspora community, effectively harnessing their contributions toward Nepal’s economic transformation.
