KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta visited Gautampur, Harinagar and Ghuski in Sunsari on Sunday to assess the situation following the recent unrest in Devanaganj.

During the visit, Mehta met local residents and stakeholders to review the situation on the ground after the incident.

She urged all sides to exercise restraint, engage in dialogue and work together to maintain peace, social harmony and mutual trust. The minister also called on the public not to spread or believe rumours and to help preserve communal harmony.
