KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned of heavy rainfall tonight in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, as active monsoon winds continue to affect the country.
Moderate to heavy showers persist across several provinces, with overcast conditions expected nationwide through Monday.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Gandaki, Karnali, Sudurpashchim, and Lumbini provinces face high risks of heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning over the next two days, prompting authorities to advise precaution in vulnerable hilly and southern plains areas.
