KATHMANDU: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, monsoonal winds continue to affect the country, with the low-pressure trough positioned around its average location.
Most regions will experience generally cloudy skies today, with light to moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning in several places across the hilly and mountainous areas, as well as parts of the Terai region.
Additionally, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Light to moderate rain is expected to continue into the night, particularly over the hilly and mountainous regions, along with select Terai locations.
